Highlands PTA

The Highlands PTA is an organization of families and teachers who are dedicated to providing academic support and community engagement opportunities for every student and their family at Highlands.

As a group, we coordinate and organize many school activities and programs like STEAM Night, Reading Week, and Variety Show. In addition, we contribute financial assistance to field trips, academic curriculum apps and subscriptions, classroom stipends, and a supplemental teacher’s aide. We fundraise through our Membership Toolkit where families can purchase spirit wear, make donations and join the PTA. Fundraising with school and community events throughout the year like the Auction, Carnival, Book Fairs, Skating Parties, Holiday Shop and Hawk Night Flight (2 mile run/walk) allow our families to build connections and enjoy our community while raising money for our programs.  The PTA also provides access to national PTA programs like the Reflections and Citizenship contests for students.

This is our community.
Everyone is invited! Everyone counts!

And we need you to help keep our PTA strong. Your membership gives us the ability to maintain a significant and meaningful support system for our students and teachers.

As a PTA, we continue to advocate for high standards of learning and are champions for all of our kids. This year when the stakes have never been higher, we ask you to join us in supporting our school community. Please take the time to join the PTA and get involved. We have many opportunities for participation. Check out all the way on our Membership Toolkit.
